Allow Renaming Slugs or Use IDs

In the URL, you use the slug instead of an ID. However, this slug cannot be changed over time, and if we named wrongly the organization/project at the start, we would need to start completely from scratch the organization/project, to avoid having the old name appearing as a slug. Could we rename slugs, or better, just use the IDs instead of slugs in the URLs? I don't want my dummy name project that suddenly keeps serious to still appear.
