Saved custom events — define "A OR B" once and reuse it across reports
Many of our product concepts are unions of several tracked events: "used navigation" alone is ~40 event names, "started a booking" is another dozen.
What exists today (checked against main)
- A series targets one event name, or "*" (any event).
- Picking "*" and adding a filter `name is [A, B]` compiles to `e.name IN ('A', 'B')`, so an OR is possible per chart.
- The retention chart builds exactly that when you multi-select events; other chart types keep the picker single-select (isSelectManyEvents is true only for retention).
- Formulas (A+B) sum counts, so unique users get double-counted.
The gap
The OR definition lives inside a single chart. Every dashboard that needs "used navigation" rebuilds the same filter by hand, and a renamed event means hunting through every report. There is no place to give the union a name and reuse it. EventMeta only stores color, icon and conversion flag.
Request
1. A project-level "custom event": a saved name plus a list of event names (optionally with property filters), selectable wherever an event can be picked: series, funnel steps, retention, cohorts, conversion goals. Storage-wise it is metadata; at query time it expands to the same `name IN (...)` you already generate.
2. Smaller step that would already help a lot: enable the multi-select event picker for all chart types, not only retention.
Precedent
Mixpanel Custom Events, Amplitude Derived Events, PostHog Actions.
